Male Charged for Depositing Checks Multiple Times
On December 21, 2020, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office was alerted that Brian Austin Copeland, a former employee of Larry M. Isley Seeding, cashed payroll checks multiple times. The investigation revealed that Copeland used the mobile deposit feature to deposit checks into his account, and a few months later he opened a new bank account and deposited the checks a second time.
On April 6, 2021, Brian Copeland was arrested in Randolph County and was given a $3000 dollar unsecure bond. His first appearance is April 7, 2021.
